Empowering Climate-Smart Farming with Solar-Powered Irrigation
Our Successful Partnership with World Vision Lanka in Jaffna District
We are proud to share the success of one of our most impactful collaborations — as a supplier and expert technical installer for World Vision Lanka’s Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) Project in the Jaffna District.
As part of this initiative, we supplied and installed over 25 solar-powered motor units (1 HP & 1.5 HP) in the Chavakachcheri and Chankani areas. These solar-powered irrigation solutions now serve 25 dedicated farmers, helping them irrigate a combined total of 60 acres of agricultural land.
Driving Sustainable Change in Agriculture
This project marks a special milestone in transforming local farming practices towards more climate-resilient and sustainable models. In the face of climate challenges such as unpredictable rainfall and increasing energy costs, farmers need innovative solutions to adapt and thrive.
By shifting to solar-powered irrigation, farmers in these regions are now able to:
- Reduce dependence on fossil fuels and grid electricity
- Lower operational costs and carbon emissions
- Achieve more reliable and consistent irrigation
- Promote eco-friendly and climate-smart agriculture
Our Role: Expertise & Commitment
As the supplier and installation partner, we are proud to have delivered not only the best-in-class solar-powered motor systems but also:
- Expert technical design and consultation
- Efficient installation with precision and care
- On-site training and support to ensure farmers can confidently manage their new systems
A Step Toward a Greener Future
This initiative is a shining example of how innovative technology and strong partnerships can empower farmers and communities. It underscores the importance of renewable energy solutions in creating a resilient agricultural sector — both in our region and across the country.
We are honored to contribute to this mission, and we remain committed to advancing eco-friendly, climate-smart solutions for agriculture and beyond.
